Self-censorship.

Recently, colleagues read my blog, and I was confronted, for the first time, with criticism about my online material from people that are neither total strangers, nor my bosom friends. I was a bit shocked. For days I started thinking about deleting past posts, of censuring what I want to say. For the first time I got a glimpse at the fear of sharing the innermost part of yourself on the internet, to strangers. Well. Let me re-iterate what xkcd so brilliantly said:
