Californication

What can I say about Californication? Probably a lot.
I watched the entire series.
People that are flawed, yet not that flawed.
A lot of Fornication.
A depressing inability to overcome our human nature,
a struggle within, to discover what is right.
Tom Kapinos is a genuinely ingenious genius, with his exaggerations looping you back into reflection, attention and appreciation.
As i grow older, flawed characters, that try to overcome their flaws seem to rise as my new Heroes.
From the raftman, to that hero in a book a maths professor had once lent me, to that professor himself.
From knowing that other people are as fucked up as we are. From rejecting the perfect and towards embracing the mediocre that aspires to perfection; the journey leaves you once more with a sense of Katharsis, of cleanness of being.
